TWU joins AWS Academy to supplement computer science program

Aug. 1, 2022 – DENTON - Texas Woman's University has joined AWS Academy, Amazon Web Service's online training and certification courses in a variety of computing skills that help bridge the gap between industry and academia.

AWS Academy will be housed in the College of Arts and Sciences and will support TWU faculty and undergraduate students in the computer science program.

AWS works with higher-education institutions to help educators access innovative cloud courses and receive professional training; and equip students with skills needed to get hired in the computer industry. The program is free to participating schools.
